The vegan star will be performing NATURAL BLUES, WHY DOES MY HEART FEEL SO BAD and PORCELAIN.
Also amongst the artists appearing are BON JOVI, WESTLIFE AND NAT KING COLE'S daughter NATALIE COLE.
MOBY'S PLAY is officially the year's (00) biggest selling album, it has now gone quadruple platinum (sales in excess of 1.2 million).

UK's First Lady of Drum & Bass takes on America

DJ RAP, the UKs leading female drum & bass DJ, real name, CHARISSA SAVERIO, is currently wowing huge audiences in America on her tour.
RAP who is infamous for the brief stint of topless glamour modelling she did as a 14, year old rebel, is now label mates with the 'god father' of drum & bass, GROOVERIDER, and widely recognised as a talented DJ and recording artist.
Despite her experience RAP reckons she still encounters sexism from male clubbers attempting to tell her what records to play, and attempt to find fault with her techniques. She says, "There are top male DJs out there who clang mix after mix. If I did that I'd beat myself up for a month!"

Groove Armada

London DJ/producers GROOVE ARMADA aka TOM FINDLAY and ANDY CATO will end their year with a stunning performance in a New York superclub.
The dance music duo who recently remixed MADONNA'S MUSIC single, will finish their year by playing a 6 hour DJ set at New York's legendary TWILO club on Saturday 30th December (00).
Other TWILO residents include JUNIOR VASQUEZ, SASHA & DIGWEED, DEEP DISH AND TIMO MAAS.

Massive Attack to collaborate with Damon Albarn

MASSIVE ATTACK's two remaining members: 3D and DADDY G alias ROBERT DEL NAJA and GRANT MARSHALL have been busy recording their new album, the follow up to the platinum selling MEZZANINE in locations from Barbados to Surrey.
BLUR singer DAMON ALBARN will be going into the studio with ROBERT DEL NAJA to record a song he has written for HORACE ANDY. Del Naja said, "When I mentioned the idea to Damon, he was really chuffed to be writing for Horace." Damon and Del Naja previously worked together on the track ONE DAY AT A TIME for the ORDINARY DECENT CRIMINAL film soundtrack.
During their time at the RIDGE FARM STUDIO it is rumoured that the band also worked on material with LUPINE HOWL, the new band featuring ex-members of trendy rockers, SPIRITUALISED.
3D added, "With the amount of material we have for the new album, it could go in a lot of directions. We want it to be different and more exciting than the last album, but still carry the trademarks forward."

Photek Records are gold dust

The new single from world famous drum & bass producer, PHOTEK, who recently surprised the music press by recording house music, is rumoured to be amongst the most sought after records in clubland at the moment
MINE TO GIVE, which will officially be released on February 5 (01) is taken from his SOLARIS album. The original version of the single sparked initial heat with a small amount of limited edition white labels made available to a few selected DJs including: LAURENT GARNIER, DANNY RAMPLING and GILLES PETERSON.
The track which features legendary house vocalist ROBERT OWENS has now been given remixes from DAVID MORALES and SATOSHI TOMIIE. It is already rumoured to be one of the most important dance records for 2001.

Howie B gets picked up by De La Guarda

Maverick Argentinean performance artists DE LA GUARDA recently approached DJ/producer HOWIE B with a view to securing his production talents for their new soundtrack album.
After seeing their show in New York Howie proclaimed it "the freshest f**king thing you've ever seen." He's due to begin work on it in a couple of weeks time with the album to be released next year.
HOWIE B who owns his own label, PUSSYFOOT, DJ'd for U2 on their POPMART tour and contributed to the soundtrack of the WIM WENDERS film END OF VIOLENCE, he has also recorded for other labels including Mo Wax and Polydor. (PBT/WN/-)

Propellerheads back in the studio

The PROPELLERHEADS aka ALEX GIFFORD and WILL WHITE are busy in the studio recording their new album. Will has spent some time in New York with Alex and tracks have been completed with vocalists KD LANG and RUFUS WAINWRIGHT.
The new album is said to take a more 'song based' musical direction in contrast to the big beat of their last album DECKSANDRUMSANDROCKANDROLL.
The Bath duo who had a huge hit with their SHIRLEY BASSEY collaboration HISTORY REPEATING will release their follow up album in early 2001.
