Now my Wife, we still eat here quite regularly, and we really enjoy the food. I love the Chicken Curry, Rice & Lychees drink - it's the best I have EVER tasted anywhere - generous, too. Staff are lovely and the service is quick and good.

Beth said on 24th July ... "I'm an American and I was staying down the street from Stick & Bowl a few years ago and happened to stop by because I was curious how the Chinese food would be different in London.

Wow...it was amazing.

I've visited London twice since then, and I always make it a point to stop by there. The fried rice, the cashew chicken, and the wonton soup are excellent and the staff friendly.

I look forward to visiting London again in the future, because it's such a cool city, and when I do I'll definitely be stopping by this area for some cashew chicken and a stroll in Hyde Park."

Yes, if it's busy (and it usually is) the high counters and stools arranged across the room make it feel like you are eating in a cloakroom, but there is something very comforting about cloakrooms. The food is always good too and the service friendly. What you get is basically your standard Chinatown style Chinese food at reasonable prices. Lovely warming Hot & Sour soup, Char Sui Noodles and Green Tea. Stick & Bowl is the perfect place to go on a Saturday afternoon after a few hours tramping around the shops. Oh and its wonderfully un-modernised, please don't change."
