The breakfast show host was the surprise entry in a list which included Brad Pitt and Justin Timberlake, in a survey by Glamour magazine.

Hollywood heart-throb Brad was the favourite, followed by Johnny Depp and James Bond star Daniel Craig, while Justin and Colin Farrell were also popular choices.

Over 1,200 were asked to reveal their fantasies, and almost all said they had imagined having sex with a celebrity.

But the Radio 1 DJ’s name also appeared in the fantasy list.

"Just hearing his voice turns me on," said one 28-year-old nurse from Canterbury, going on to reveal details of her imagined romp in the Radio 1 studio.

Other strange choices included Nelson Mandela and Andy from Little Britain.

One woman revealed: "I think about Take That in a room with handcuffs and whips - as well as a pregnant horse."

The survey also found that women fantasise about female celebrities.

Angelina Jolie topped the list, ahead of TV presenter Fearne Cotton and supermodel Kate Moss. Christina Aguilera, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson and Desperate Housewife Marcia Cross also got a mention.

According to the poll, 93% of women have fantasies but 57% never reveal them to their partner. One in five fantasises about sex with another women, 17% think of their female friends and 27% like to imagine they are in a porn film.

The full survey results are in the June edition of Glamour.

Moyles and Ross up for radio Oscars - Mar 28 2007
Jonathan Ross and Chris Moyles have been nominated for the radio industry’s answer to the Oscars.

Radio 2 star Ross is a contender for Personality of the Year and faces competition from the likes of Chris Evans, Mark Radcliffe and Andy Kershaw.

Moyles could win the Entertainment Award for the second year running for his Radio 1 breakfast show.

He is up against Radio 2’s Chris Evans once again and Heart breakfast host Jamie Theakston.

But Moyles and Radio 2 favourite Terry Wogan have been snubbed in the award for best breakfast show.

Instead the contenders are Radio 4’s Today Programme, Five Live Breakfast and three regional programmes: The Bush & Troy Show (GWR FM Bristol), The Jo & Twiggy Breakfast Show (96 Trent FM) and Toolan In The Morning (Key 103 Manchester).

John Humphrys of Radio 4’s Today programme has two nominations, for News Journalist and Speech Broadcaster of the Year.

Former Inspiral Carpets star Clint Boon also has a double nomination - Music Broadcaster of the Year and the Specialist Music Programme Award for his show on XFM Manchester.

Radio 1, Radio 2 and Classic FM are the three contenders for UK Station of the Year.

The 25th annual awards will take place on April 30.

Chris makes ’plea’ to Simon - Mar 13 2007
Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles is desperate to appear on the X Factor’s judging panel it seems - and has even made a plea to Simon Cowell to let him join the team.

The 38-year-old is apparently keen to join the show after it was announced that Louis Walsh would no longer be taking part in the next series of the hit reality show.

"I’m just waiting for the call. I’m definitely interested," he told the Daily Star.

And Simon said: "He’s among the names to have been thrown in the ring. But nothing has been decided yet."

Fans were shocked after last week’s announcement that presenter Kate Thornton and Louis would no longer be involved, and that two new faces will join the judging panel.

Biography

Born in Leeds on February 22 1974 Chris Moyles is Radio One’s Long time Breakfast Show Presenter.  However, Chris didn’t always beam his show in to quite so many homes - he bagan his career with stints on Radio Aire, The Pulse of West Yorkshire, Chiltern Radio, Horizon Radio, Signal 1 and Radio Luxembourg (under the name Chris Holmes) before bagging a slot on Capital FM and then finally being nabbed by the Beeb in 1998.

Within months of his employment he was awarded Sony’s DJ of the Year award and by the end of the year he had bagged the prestigious drivetime slot which saw him become one of the country’s favourite DJs.  After five years he was finally given the most sought after Radio One job - the presenter of the Breakfast Show, swapping places with Sara Cox.  Moyles, along with sidekicks such as Comedy Dave and Aled Haydn-Jones, managed to quickly push the audience up to over 6.5million.

Moyles has been regularly lambasted for his lack of political correctness and has come under fire for racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia after comments made on air.  He also hit the headlines over pay controversies - crossing the picket line during BBC strikes to present his show and pick up a £630,000 paycheque.
