Calum Best is apparently so keen to stay with Lindsay Lohan that he is considering rehab.

A source told the Daily Star: "Calum first had the idea at Lindsay’s 21st birthday when he was watching her being so strong and staying away from alcohol.

"He still drinks - but obviously can’t do that around her any more. And the way he feels at the moment, by her side is the only place he wants to be."

The couple have had an on-off relationship, but Calum apparently has Lindsay’s mother’s blessing, as the actress works on putting her life back in order.

And the source said Calum has "vowed to commit to her and her recovery".

The source added: "She cried when he told her that he would be seeking help to make sure he’ll never let her down. It meant so much to her - and to them as a couple."

Lindsay Lohan may want to look away now - it seems Calum Best has been up to his old tricks and has seduced a beauty queen.

The ladies man’ was spotted at the Miss Great Britain finals in London with Miss Aberystwyth, Claire Evans.

The pretty blonde failed to catch the eyes of the competition judges - eventually losing out to Miss Aberdeen Rachel Tennent - but Calum certainly noticed her, and the pair were spotted leaving the afterparty together, reports The Sun.

An insider said: "Claire made a beeline for his table, where he was drinking with Bianca Gascoigne. They went to an afterparty and chatted all night before leaving at 4am."

Just last week the 26-year-old was holidaying in the Bahamas with Li-Lo - after the flame-haired actress invited him to the US premiere of her latest film, Georgia Rule.

The loved-up duo were spotted kissing and cuddling on the beach - and Lindsay even introduced him to her mum.

He said: "It’s early days but it’s going real great. She’s a fantastic girl, so watch this space!"

Ladies’ man Calum Best apparently says he’s being tamed - by wildchild Lindsay Lohan.

The 26-year-old has told pals he is serious about the Hollywood actress and wants a full-on relationship, reports The Sun.

The pair enjoyed a short-lived love affair last year - and it seems they’ve rekindled their romance after hooking up in Manhattan early last week.

The flame-haired actress then invited Calum to the US premiere of her latest film, Georgia Rules, before whisking him away to the Bahamas for a week-long holiday, where the loved-up duo have been spotted kissing and cuddling on the beach.

One onlooker said: "They looked totally smitten with each other."

Lindsay even introduced Calum - who has previously been linked with a host of women including Kimberly Stewart and Sarah Harding - to her mum.

A friend of the reality star added: "This is very unusual for Calum. We’re having trouble taking it seriously. But he has said he really likes Lindsay and wants to have a go at it."
