"I went there yesterday and it was awful, we had tea (which was OK) and cheese scones which were really dry and didn't taste of cheese just salt. We also had a salad with peaches, the peaches were so hard and sour they were inedible.

I wouldn't ever go back there or recommend it to anyone. "

"I have been to London 5 times in the past year and each time I go to The Orangery for tea and a stroll through the park. I just love the staff they are so courteous and remember me each time.

The service is excellent and the tea service is excellent value. I can hardly wait to return in Sept and November of this year."

"This is my favorite place to go while I'm in London. I love getting their English Breakfast tea with a slice of delicious chocolate cake. It's a wonderful, relaxing place to be and I highly recommend stopping by while you're in Kensington Gardens!"

"Ridiculously great.
I generally only ordered drinks and dessert, but members of my parties who had the sandwiches loved them, and also loved the butternut squash soup. The drinks are simple and yet really great. The desserts are elegant, rich, yet not over the top. The shortbread was good, but definitely try the organery cake, which is excellent! If you are visiting London, you must visit the Orangery."

"Fabulous afternoon tea, wonderful surroundings. A little pricey though. The Mocha cake is TDF - I would love to the get the recipe - it tasted just like the one my Aunty Mary used to make when we were kids."

"If your mother comes to visit, take her here, she'll love it. Afternoon tea here is brilliant. It is expensive, but who cares when the surroundings are like this. It's a real Kensington location."
