The singer told Us Weekly magazine: "I am not falling apart at the seams, I am not suffering with exhaustion, I am not pregnant and I am not going to rehab.

"I will be here in America, promoting the album and also starting to write the second album, which I am beyond excited about."

And while the star may have to reschedule some of her tour dates, she’s got another good reason to stay on the road - she picks up some of her favourite clothes abroad.

"I got some really nice things in Japan, like street wear. And in Paris, I mean, I always find stuff," Lily said.

"It seems very sexy when you’re at the fashion shows. So I went to see the Fall collections. I loved the evening wear, the shoes and everything, from Paris and New York."

The singer, whose new clothing line Lily Loves is due to hit New Look stores soon, also reveals that she splashed out on some designer togs following the success of her album.

"I bought three pairs of Louboutin [shoes], which was probably pretty naughty of me and a Chanel coat. It was red, wool with a silk lining and a hood."

Lily set for Somerset House gig - April 18 2007
Lily Allen and Kasabian are among the big names confirmed to make an appearance at the 2007 Somerset House Summer Series later this summer.

Amy Winehouse, Mogwai, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Roots, Mika, Guillemots and Hot Chip are also on the bill with Bert Janch, Beth Orton and Bernard Butler combining for one of the shows.

The Summer Series takes place in the grounds of London’s famous Somerset House, set between the river Thames and The Strand, from July 12-21.

Tickets go on sale at this Thursday, April 19 at 10am and are priced at £22.50-£25.

Homesick Lily cancels US tour dates - April 17 2007
Homesick Lily Allen has postponed the next leg of her US tour, the star confirmed.

The 21-year-old, who complained recently that attempting to crack the US market was boring, said she wanted to begin work on her second album.

Smile star Allen will perform just a couple more dates on her tour before axing 20 gigs across the US.

The announcement follows reports that the singer, daughter of actor Keith Allen, was too exhausted to continue.

Her spokesman Murray Chalmers said she had been on the road for the past year and was desperate to get back into the studio.

He said: "She has been writing new material whilst on the road in the US and wants to capture these new songs in the studio."

Biography

As the daughter of Britpop icon Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, Lily Allen (born May 2 1985) was destined to be famous. Born in Hammersmith, London, she moved around a lot as a child, living in Ireland’s Co Kildare before eventually settling in Islington.

With early dreams of pop stardom Lily was signed to Warner Bros in 2002 thanks, in no small part, to her father. However the partnership was short lived and in 2005 she signed to the lesser known Regal. Despite reported pressure to release pop songs she instead decided to release her tracks for free download on MySpace.com. It was through the website that she found fame, becoming a true internet star before even releasing a single. The buzz created though resulted in a rush release of LDN on limited edition 7" in early 2005.

In 2006 Lily released her debut album Alright, Still to critical and public acclaim, reaching number 2 in the UK charts. She also released Smile, the track which finally launched her in to the public’s conciousness. This was followed by a full re-release of LDN.
