Meanwhile fellow musician Simon Le Bon has pointed his daughters in the direction of the nearest strip joint by naming them Amber Rose Tamara, Saffron Sahara and Tallulah Pine (any coincidence that the names grow more ridiculous in line with Le Bon’s ego we wonder?). Even our lesser celebrities can’t help themselves with Shannyn Sossaman calling her son Audio Science and Jason Lee going for Pilot Inspektor.

But for every celebrity that insists on letting their ego get the better of them (Jacko’s Prince Michael II), name their kid after a dog (Bruce Willis’ and Demi Moore’s daughter, Scout) or try to make their child sound desperately unattractive despite having the world’s most attractive mother (Helena Christensen’s son Mingus Lucien) there are celebrities that have reigned in their artistic flair naming their children apparently normal names.

Surely if the likes of Kate Winslet, Catherine Zeta Jones, Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe can understand that being rich and famous doesn’t give you carte blanche to torture your children with awful names why can’t the rest of the A list do the same?
