Matt Willis’s career is taking a new turn - and it seems that he’s more interested in planning his wedding than returning to the world of pop.

The former Busted star is set to begin a TV career when he heads Down Under to present the ITV2 coverage of I’m A Celebrity? Get Me Out Of Here! next month with fiancee Emma Griffith.

"I definitely intend to start a new band in a couple of years," he revealed, "but I’m getting married next year, and I don’t think it’s the right time to get back into music right now - I don’t think anyone would appreciate me".

But in the meantime, all of Matt’s creative talents are focused on planning his nuptials to TV presenter Emma, 31.

"It’s a full-time job, planning a wedding today, so we haven’t set a date yet," the 24-year-old said.

"We’re pretty laid back, as a couple, we just want all our mates there, all our friends and family. But it’s not going to be a low-key wedding!

"We’ve got about 160 coming to the wedding, and 400 to the party - it’s going to be a big old rave-up."

Jungle king Matt Willis has confirmed he will definitely marry girlfriend Emma Griffiths next summer.

The 24-year-old former Busted singer, who won last year’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, couldn’t stop talking about the presenter on the show and now they’re set to tie the knot.

He told Reveal: "We really want something traditional - it won’t be a big do, just friends and family. We’ve attended loads of ceremonies recently that definitely weren’t our cup of tea."

Matt, who was speaking at the UK premiere of The Simpsons Movie in London, added that he’s a huge fan of the yellow cartoon family.

"I absolutely love Homer. I’m seriously jealous that he just sits around burping on the sofa all day," he added.

The singer has so far only had moderate success with his solo career - he toured the UK earlier this year, after Busted split two years ago.

He’s been called a bit of a bad boy, but it seems that’s a thing of the past - and now Matt Willis is taking a very traditional route to the altar.

The 23-year-old singer apparently asked girlfriend Emma Griffiths’ father for her hand in marriage when he popped the question.

And after more than two years of dating, the I’m A Celebrity winner finally got down on one knee to propose to MTV presenter Emma, according to the Sun.

Friends seem happy about the match. One told the paper: "They make a lovely couple."

Matt has had troubles in the past with a spell in rehab after Busted broke up - but Emma stood by him and the singer has embarked on a solo career.

The paper also reports that the couple have already started on their new life, and have just moved into a house in North London.

I’m A Celebrity winner Matt Willis has apparently admitted he used drugs every day for eight years.

It seems the former Busted star became hooked on marijuana when he was just 13.

And he only quit the drug when his girlfriend, MTV presenter Emma Griffiths, threatened to leave him if he smoked another joint, according to The Sun.

When Matt entered the Priory for rehab in 2005, it was thought to be because of his heavy drinking.
