"well where does one start with the seven stars, very good management and really does try to entertain the community by having themed days and bbq's and birthday parties..but sometimes attract the occasional dodgy characters and tend to put people of the stars. where as staff is concenrend the old south african barmaids where by far the best and a good laugh BRING THEM BACK and the austrailian bird was good fun. Johnny is also quite the entertainment of some evenings but for the grumpy but vicouse english girl is enough to scare away customers for the next few months. otherwise the stars is an awsome fun place and word of advice take that St Georgia's day flag off the front window that has been there almost two months now...
reach for the STARS "

"I been using the seven stars for years seen the good the bad and the ugly times just to agree with leona july 2007 looked like the new seven stars was on its way - new decor, great staff, a manager who knew his job. It looked like it had picked it self up to the omalley days and then in Dec the bald guy who managed left after giving us great nights from the elvis one in nov then the ricky hatton fight what a night - goes down in history as best night ever, bang like hatton getting knocked out the stars has been and its seeing stars

It's a joke, worst than ever fights, drugs, no control, all I can say is bring back the bald guy the chelsea bloke john and his staff"

"What happened? 2007 new decor, new staff, new food! New door staff. Hurrah!
The door staff cleaned up the mess, the new manager kept the place clean and the grub was great.

But what difference a month makes.

The door staff have gone. A fight a few weekends ago trashed the place and the guvnor was a.w.o.l. The bar manager, did not give a damn.

Same old Seven Stars then. Shame old habits die hard I def will not be back."

"The new barmaids are something to look at which is always a good thing and they have changed the music to something like it used to be. Once skysports is on the go, I will be visiting it more."

"The new refurb makes the stars look like a different pub. The atmosphere has completely changed and there are no longer kids playing pool in the corner.

An improvement all round..."

"Hi my name is John,
I have just taken over the 7 Stars and thought I’d update you on what’s on now we’ve reopened. The pub is now split into two areas; a sky sports bar and relaxing lounge area . We will show all major sporting events such as Football, World Cup Rugby and Grand Prix’s. We are introducing poker league nights, quiz nights and will have DJ’s on Fridays playing feel good and chill out tunes. Throughout the football season we will be sponsoring a children’s charity by raffling Chelsea tickets once a month with all the proceedings going to charity. Our range of products has improved such as San Miguel on draught and bottled Budvar to name but a few.

We have also designed a new menu which we think will cater for all tastes such as our fresh doorstep sandwiches. We will have security working all weekend nights with the door policy being over 21’s, no children, no pets and a smart dress code. An added bonus is our beer garden, ideal for you smokers and when the sun comes, BBQ’s.

This is just a taster of what on but you should really come and see for yourself.

"7 star's has gone under alot of changes over the last few weeks.. And i must say that they are making alot of changes, one i must state is the food. They have put a west indian style chef in the kitchen and the food is great, u can get things like the famous jerk chicken and curry mutton, rice and pea's, fry dumplins, plaintain, hard food, not forgeting fish and chips, sunday roast, macaroni & cheese, not to mention the value for money, jukebox also means that costomers have the chioce to choose what music which is played...

I'm not totally sure but i have heard plans of removing the pool table, cuz of attracting to many youths, so as u can see owners are making relevent decisions pleasing the costomers... So over all , watch this space.."

"This pub used to be so good when the likes of jimmy doing the karaoke and joony on a friday nite were about. It had a brill atmosphere and everybody was like a close family. Then Ray left and a lady has taken it over. Now it's full of children not buyin a drink and lowlifes. It has competley changed, and all the people who use to drink in there do not anymore. I know that when somebody takes over a pub it can change but this is horrid, no one feels safe in there and she can't be makin any money. There is always one type of music and thats regaee, and thats for the manager if you ask me. Bring Becky and the girls back in there, they were great and she was good fun on Chelsea games ...until it gets taken over its a no * rating I'm afraid"

""I entered this place for the first time on Monday and first impressions were quite good, even if it is trying a little hard. However, the bar staff were unenthused and decided that last orders were at 10.50pm not 11pm, without even indicating that last orders were due - apparently they don't ring a bell here - pub policy. The emphasis was certainly on getting customers out the door rather than in the door and although it was nice to be in a bar where you could hear yourself think while reclining in leather sofas, I don't think I'll be going back. They don't even serve bitter! Signed - a disgruntled customer!""
