Local Feature: Oh My Dog ! - Barkers Goes Barking Mad

Perfume was once used to attract the opposite sex, but now a new fragrance allows you to create a better bond with your dog.

The superbly named 'Oh My Dog!' goes on sale in the UK exclusively at House of Fraser's stores, including Barkers of Kensington.

Here's a few words from the Press Release if you don't believe this -

Oh My Dog! was created by dog-loving businessmen Laurent Jugeau and Etienne de Swardt, ex-Givenchy. Internationally renowned dog behaviorist Patrick Pageat consulted closely on the project.

"Oh My Dog! eau de toilette and all-over shampoo is a fun and stylish way to strengthen the bond between dog and man, woman or child. To apply the fragrance, owners spray Oh My Dog! onto their hands, then stroke the dog's back and sides.

The scent is so appealing that owners will want to wear it, too! And dogs will love the attention! Oh My Dog! was created by expert 'nose', Bernard Ellena from Dragoco. He carefully eliminated odours such as citrus that might offend a dog's remarkable sense of smell and included many appealing fragrances like Vanilla Absolute, which dogs love.

Dog owners of all ages plus stylish, urban types will love Oh My Dog! It taps into the booming pet grooming trend, and links with the luxury lifestyle where matching owner/pet accessories are desirable.

Oh My Dog! has been a huge success in France, Tokyo, the US and is now set to hit the UK exclusively through House of Fraser stores from 1st September.

Also from Dog Generation, look out for Oh My Cat!, available from November.

Oh My Dog! Perfume and All Over Shampoo will be available exclusively on the beauty floors of House of Fraser Stores nationwide from 1st September 2001 priced £25.00 for 100ml spray and £13.50 for All Over Shampoo.
