We would like you to write about anything you like, as long as it expresses something about yourself and where you live.

Why not write about ...

- a local activity or personality

- the history of your area or some part of it (why not interview someone who has lived in the area for a long time, who can tell you about the way things used to be)

- the story of a local landmark or group of people

- a fictional story set in the area

- a cool piece of poetry?

The best entries will become part of the myvillage websites, and your friends and family will be able to check out your writing skills!

The winners will receive prizes including Micro-scooters (courtesy of Barnetts Toyshop) and other great prizes.
